Installation of new heating system

Old heating system#
The old heating system was a 30 year old gas powered system, that was at the end of its lifetime. Tldr. mostly broken, to high gas consumption and a lot of rust.
Cleanup#
First I disassembled the old heating system and moved that heavy stuff with the help of my family and friends out of the basement. After that I cleaned the walls, where the old heating system was and cleaned the chimney. Lastly I removed a bricked-up door with plasterboard, that had a moldly surprise.
After cleanup#
After cleanup some fresh paint was added.
New heating system#
The new heating system is a hybrid system that combines a gas powered heater with a heat pump. So we started with the installation of the gas heater and the heat pump indoor unit. At the same time, most of the pipes were also replaced.
After that we started the installation of the heat pump main unit.
Now we have fixed the holes in the chimney.
Adding some insulation on the pipes that transport the warm water.
